forest dash
About forest dash
A three-lane run through forest that gets its difficulty from how late the obstacles become visible rather than from how fast you are going. Trees and gaps arrive in patterns that are readable if you look far enough ahead, which is the skill the game is quietly teaching. Jumping early is nearly always better than jumping accurately. Runs end quickly at first and then, once the pattern reading clicks, start lasting long enough to be worth caring about your score on.
How to Play
- Swipe left and right, or press A and D, to change lane.
- Swipe up, or press W or Space, to jump.
- Look at the far end of the track rather than at your character.
- Jump slightly early - late jumps are what end most runs.
